Ahri stole our hearts in 2024 with their incredible “witch version” of Link from The Legend of Zelda, inspired by artists Sunset Dragon and Mahou Shojo, winning Best In Show at the Metro Comic Con Cosplay Championship.
As one of our guest judges this year, they can’t wait to see everyone’s incredible cosplays, and chat about all things cosplay and competition.

I’m AhriBelle, call me Ahri, and I’ve been making cosplays for about a decade now. I’ve tried my hand at most things, from sewing and weaving to propmaking and full armour. I specialise in mixed material builds, with a focus on sewing. I love adding texture, and using cosplay to really tell the story of the character.
I was the winner of the 2024 Metro Comic Con Cosplay Championship, and adore how supportive the competition community is. You can learn so much from your fellow cosplayers.
