Gear up your ducks and prepare for battle! Metro Comic Con is thrilled to announce that award-winning fantasy illustrator, writer, and concept artist Anthony Christou will be joining us in the Comics Crossroads!
Anthony is the creative mastermind behind Luminous Ages, a highly acclaimed, mythology-infused fantasy comic and novel series. As an industry veteran, he has contributed stunning environment concept art to major global franchises, working with prominent studios like Grinding Gear Games on Path of Exile and Disney Japan. His incredible art prints have been published on art puzzles by major retailers such as Walmart and Kmart, and his work is even exhibited internationally in the Japanese Living Art Museum in Tokyo.
Anthony’s whimsical side shines in Ducks in Dungeon, an upcoming card game following Quacker Jack and his duck siblings, Sunny, Indigo, and Violet. This playful universe is expanded through his Ducks & Dragons merchandise line, which features custom t-shirts and gaming playmats that blend fantasy art with humorous duck antics.

About
Anthony Christou
Anthony Christou is an illustrator, painter, writer, game designer, and CEO of Luminous Ages, an independent Australian creative studio spanning comics, tabletop games, and video games.
Working in both acrylics and digital media, Anthony’s artwork has been exhibited internationally, including at the Japanese Living Art Museum, and in 2026 will be featured in Infected By Art, one of the world’s leading fantasy and science fiction art annuals. He is represented by Tate Licensing, one of America’s premier licensing agencies.His artwork has been published by Arrow puzzles in Kmart and in the US and Europe with Caeco Puzzles.
Anthony is the creator of the award-winning Luminous Ages comic series, which has received ACKA Awards and now spans four published volumes. He also created Luminous Lore, a 5E-compatible RPG sourcebook that became one of Australia’s highest-funded Dungeons & Dragons crowdfunding projects.
Expanding beyond publishing, the Luminous Ages universe now includes the card games Cats Versus Dragons and Ducks in Dungeons, as well as the studio’s debut video game, Luminous Ages: Jigsaw Puzzles, available as a demo on Steam. Anthony continues to grow the Luminous Ages universe across comics, games, animation, and licensing.
