Austen Mengler
Austen Mengler is a horror concept artist, illustrator & graphic novelist from Perth, Western Australia. With 10+ years of industry experience, he has worked with international clients on a variety of projects.
Recent and past clients include: Chapter 5 Studios (“The Faceless Man” 2019 horror film.), Pogo (SFX makeup for “Horrorland”), Good Games (Playmat design), Posthuman Studios (Creature Design), Within Destruction (Album Artwork), Rough House Publishing (Comic Colorist), Encounter Table Publishing (Creature Design Illustration), Winterfold (Album Artwork), Ferocious Mind (Album Artwork) & more.
As well as freelance projects for clients, Austen has been developing and releasing his own original horror art projects and collections in print and online:
POP HORROR: a warped horrific parody of my favourite pop culture characters.
EXECUTION – a scifi/fantasy/horror post apocalyptic world building comic IP project.

Austen has a true love for drawing and creating characters, creatures, monsters from imagination. He delights in creating artwork for films, video games, album covers, Kickstarter projects, comics and graphic novels.
