About

Christina Chong

Christina Chong is a British actress and singer. She started dancing at the age of four and at 14 she gained a place at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in London. After graduation she was cast in Elton John’s musical Aida. An injury cut short her musical theatre career, so she turned to acting. Her breakthrough came with supporting roles in the movies W.E. and Johnny English Reborn and TV appearances in Doctor Who and as a regular in the medical drama Monroe. She subsequently appeared in a number of British and US TV shows and movies, including the reoccurring role of Zoe Holloway in Dominion, and PFC Talitha Macer, the female lead in Halo: Nightfall, as well as roles in Black Mirror, 24: Live Another Day, Line of Duty, Grace, Tom & Jerry: The Movie and Christmas Eve.

In 2023, Christina was cast in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, in the starring role of La’an Noonien Singh, a descendant of Khan Noonien Singh, opposite Anson Mount and Rebecca Romijn, and her fellow Metro Comic Con guest, Ethan Peck.

Alongside acting, Christina is following her musical passion with her debut EP Twin Flames, which was released in August 2023. Aside from being in front of the camera, she’s working on a career as a writer and producer, drawing from personal experiences to create content that gives hope and inspires.
