Katy O’Brian
Katy O’Brian is an actress, martial artist, and figure competitor from Indianapolis She started her acting career in local theater productions at a young age, but she always had a passion for film. While attending Indiana University, O’Brian performed in the university’s short form improvisation troupe, Hoosonfirst. During that time, she worked with various student film productions promoting the university’s martial arts program. Post graduation, Katy O’Brian landed a role in the feature horror “Gnawbone” and has performed in numerous film productions since such as How to Get Away with Murder, The Walking Dead, and Halt and Catch Fire.
From there Katy’s career has see her play George in Syfy’s zombie show Z Nation, Major Sarah Grey in The CW’s superhero series Black Lightning, Kimball in Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., before joining the MCU as Jentorra in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Katy has quickly solidified her place in the Star Wars Universe playing the ex-Imperial Communications officer, Elia Kane, in The Mandalorian.
Katy’s passion for bodybuilding earned her a leading role opposite Kristen Stewart in the film Love Lies Bleeding (2024), where she plays the character Jackie, who is also a competitive bodybuilder. Fans will also be able to see her in the upcoming Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two, and Twisters.
