Born in Israel, Oded Fehr was pursuing Germany a career in business when he signed up for a drama class on a whim. After starring in a production of David Mamet’s Sexual Perversity in Chicago, he discovered a passion for acting. Leaving behind his business career, he enrolled in the Old Vic Theatre School in Bristol, England, before going on to London’s Court Yard Theatre where he starred as the title character in their production of Don Juan Comes Back From the War.

After a few small roles on TV, Oded caught the attention of moviegoers worldwide with his portrayal of the mysterious warrior, Ardeth Bay, in the hit action franchise The Mummy, opposite Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz. He went on to appear in many more films, including Deuce Bigelow: Male Gigolo, Texas Rangers, The Betrayed, Dreamer, Drool, Inescapable, Dangerous Liaisons, White Chamber, La Cocina and Grizzly Night.

Oded also starred as fan-favourite Carlos Olivera in the blockbuster Resident Evil franchise, with Milla Jovovich, starring in Resident Evil: Apocalypse and Resident Evil: Extinction, before returning for Resident Evil: Retribution.

Oded has also made his mark on television in shows such as UC: Undercover opposite Vera Farmiga, Presidio Med and Charmed. He starred in the Golden Globe nominated Showtime limited series Sleeper Cell to much critical acclaim, before featuring in the reboot of V and spending five years on the hit show Cover Affairs. He’s also appeared in shows such as Jane by Design, NCIS, Stitchers, The Blacklist, Blood and Treasure, Night Therapy and Your Friends and Neighbors. Recent starring roles have included the villainous Jafar in Disney’s Once Upon a Time and Asim Naseri on 24: Legacy and Eitan Hafri on The First opposite Sean Penn.

Oded has also performed many fan-favorite roles in the arena of voice acting. For DC, he portrayed Kent Nelson, aka the incredibly powerful Dr Fate, in Justice League and Justice League Unlimited, as well as Equinox in Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Mr. Freeze in Batman Unlimited and Ra’s al Ghul in Young Justice. For Marvel, he’s played N’Kantu the Living Mummy in Ultimate Spider-Man and Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. He starred as The Choten in Kaijudo: Rise of the Duel Masters, and has featured in American Dad, Scooby Doo in Where’s My Mummy?, and starred as the all-powerful Osiris in the blockbuster game, Destiny 2 and its expansions.

Most recently, Oded has been thrilling fans as the past as Abner in House of David, and in the future as Admiral Charles Vance in Star Trek: Discovery and Star Trek: Starfleet Academy.

Oded lives with his wife, children, and two Golden Retrievers in California, and when he’s not acting you will often find him working on some extravagant project in his wood shop.
